Grant Applicants

How to Apply
We request that applicants do not call or contact Impact100 Philadelphia members. All members are being asked to maintain the confidentiality of the grant process and to avoid a potential conflict of interest. Letter of Inquiry and Full Proposal Guidelines for the 2011 Grant Cycle will be available for download on or before December 15, 2010. Questions about the grant process may be made via email to grants@impact100philly.org.

Step 1. Letter of Inquiry
Applicants must download and submit a Letter of Inquiry and Cover Sheet. The original and seven (7) copies of the Letter of Inquiry must be submitted by U.S. mail to:

Letters of Inquiry must be postmarked by Friday, January 15, 2010. Letters may not be faxed, or sent via electronic mail. Note: P.O. Boxes cannot accept delivery from overnight mail services.

Step 2. Invitation to Submit a Full Proposal
Impact100 Philadelphia will review all Letters of Inquiry and notify applicants if they have been selected to submit a Full Proposal. All applicants will be notified of this decision by Monday, February 8, 2010.

Step 3. Full Proposal
Applicants must be invited to submit a Full Proposal. Guidelines for the Full Proposal are available for download on our website. The original and fifteen (15) copies of the Full Proposal, collated and stapled, must be submitted to:

Full Proposals must be postmarked by Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Proposals may not be faxed, or sent via electronic mail. Note: P.O. Boxes cannot accept delivery from overnight mail services.

Step 4. Site Visit
The Impact100 Philadelphia Focus Area Committees will review all Proposals and notify applicants if they have been selected for a site visit. All applicants will be notified, even if they are not selected.

Step 5. Selection of Finalists
Finalists will be selected by Monday, May 14, 2010. They will receive guidelines for making presentations to the Impact100 Philadelphia membership at the annual meeting.

Step 6. Finalist Presentation

Finalists will be invited to make a presentation at the Impact100 Philadelphia annual meeting, to be held on Monday, June 7, 2010.

Step 7. Selection of Grantee
Impact100 Philadelphia members will vote by individual ballot at the annual meeting on Monday, June 7, 2010, and that vote will determine the grant recipient.

Prior to the release of grant funds, each recipient must complete the Impact100 Philadelphia Grant Agreement. Click here to see the Sample Grant Agreement .

Step 8: Payment of Grant
Impact100 Philadelphia will distribute the grant in two or three installments, depending on the nature of the project.

Step 9. Reports and Evaluation
Grantees must submit periodic reports on implementation and progress of the project to Impact100 Philadelphia as requested. When the project is complete, or funds are fully expended, the grantee must submit a final report.
