We have an online application process for Letters of Inquiry and Full Proposals for each grant cycle.
By mid- September each year, deadlines and dates for the upcoming grant cycle are posted to the Important Dates page in this section.
Step 1. Letter of Inquiry Application
Applicants must submit a Letter of Inquiry via Slideroom. Letters of Inquiry must be submitted by the December deadline (see the Important Dates in this section for this year’s deadline). Other detailed instructions are included within the Letter of Inquiry application.
Step 2. Invitation to Submit a Full Proposal
Impact100 reviews all Letters of Inquiry and notifies applicants if they have been selected to submit a Full Proposal. All applicants will be notified of this decision, typically in January.
Step 3. Full Proposal Application
Applicants invited to submit a Full Proposal will complete an online application by the early February deadline, which includes a Budget Form and Financial Summary Form.
Step 4. Site Visit
Impact100 Focus Area Committees review all proposals and notify applicants if they have been selected for a site visit. All applicants will be notified, even if they are not selected.
Step 5. Selection of Finalists
Finalists will be selected by mid-May. They will receive guidelines for making presentations to the Impact100 membership at the Annual Meeting.
Step 6. Finalist Presentation
Finalists will be invited to make a presentation at the Impact100 Annual Meeting, to be held in early June.
Step 7. Selection of Grantee
Impact100 members will vote by individual ballot at the Annual Meeting in early June. This vote determines the grant recipients.
Step 8. Payment of Grant
Prior to the release of funds to the $100,000 grantee, the recipient must complete a Grant Agreement. Impact100 will distribute grants in installments, depending on the nature of the proposal.
Step 9. Reports and Evaluation
Grantees must submit periodic reports to Impact100 as specified in the Grant Agreement.

• Please do not call or contact Impact100 members, as all members are asked to maintain the confidentiality of the grant process.
• We hold Grant Applicant Information Sessions in the Fall before Letters of Inquiry are due. The information sessions walk applicants through the eligibility, process, and timeline. It’s a great place to clarify questions before the application goes live. Please request to be added to our mailing list and read this year’s 2018 Presentation Slides for more information.
