Every year Impact100 Philadelphia members report that one of the most meaningful aspects of their experience is service on a Focus Area Committee. This year over 200 members are signed up to read grant proposals, analyze financial data, meet with nonprofit leaders in our community, and visit dozens of worthy organizations. It is a wonderful opportunity to be a decision maker in the grant making process, and our members are proud to take this responsibility seriously.

This year, Grants Co-Chairs Toby Gang and Renee Applegate have expanded the training process for new Impact100 Philadelphia members and returning members who want to refresh their appraisal skills. We encourage you to learn about how to evaluate nonprofits to make sure they meet Impact100 Philadelphia’s funding criteria, what to expect on site visits, and how to prepare for them by attending a Grants Process Training Session being offered on the evening of January 28. This program will also feature presentations and tips from our members of our Financial Review Panel, including the basics of making sure the nonprofits applying for grants are on safe financial footing.  To RSVP for this members-only program, click HERE.
